How we use cookies.

What cookies are, which categories the SITE uses, how their consent is managed and how you can configure or delete them from your browser.

Categories, consent and management.

First. What a cookie is. A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. Cookies do not harm the device and do not, on their own, identify the person.

Second. Why we use cookies. UMIBA uses cookies for the operation of the SITE, to remember your preferences and to understand, in aggregate form, how the SITE is used and thus improve it.

Third. Categories of cookies we use.

• Necessary. Essential for navigation and the operation of the SITE. They do not require consent.
• Analytics. Measure the use of the SITE in aggregate form through Google Analytics 4, a Google service that UMIBA implements via Google Tag Manager. They are activated only with your consent.
• Advertising measurement. With your consent, they allow the inquiries received to be attributed to UMIBA's Google Ads campaigns and their effectiveness to be assessed, via Google Ads through Google Tag Manager. They are activated only with your consent.
• Preferences. Remember USER options, such as the language.

The analytics cookies the SITE installs are _ga and _ga_3TTBEHBYHG: first-party cookies, with a validity of up to two years, used to distinguish visitors and sessions and to measure use in aggregate form. With your consent, the SITE also uses Google advertising-measurement cookies (for example, _gcl_au, from the Google Ads conversion linker) to attribute inquiries to your campaigns and assess their effectiveness. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics and advertising-measurement cookies remain disabled until you accept them; in other regions you may reject them or withdraw your consent at any time from the banner or your browser settings.

Fourth. How to manage cookies. The USER may accept, reject or delete non-necessary cookies from the SITE's consent banner and from their browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect the operation of the SITE.

Fifth. Updates. This Cookie Policy may be updated. The version published on the SITE governs, with its date of last update.
