Discharge is usually the same day, with a urinary catheter for a few days. Symptom improvement sets in progressively over the following weeks.
How this procedure is covered.
Direct in-network care is with the Hospital Alemán Medical Plan (PMHA). With the other health insurers (obras sociales) and prepaid plans, care is on a reimbursement basis. For private care, fees are stated transparently at the consultation.
