Physician with Diploma of Honor (Universidad del Salvador), Specialist in Urology (UBA) and a Master's in Uro-oncology (Universidad Nacional de Cuyo). Fellowship in Urologic Laparoscopy alongside Dr. Octavio Castillo (Santiago, Chile). More than 2,000 robotic and minimally invasive surgeries. Intuitive (da Vinci) proctor. Speaker at the EAU, AUA, SIU and CAU, with more than eighty indexed publications and book chapters. First Prize of the Confederación Americana de Urología (CAU 2024) and a member of the SIU Board.

Training the next surgical generation.
Since 2016, Dr. Gonzalo J. Vitagliano has directed the fellowship in uro-oncology and laparoscopic surgery at the Hospital Alemán Department of Urology, an advanced-training program that combines supervised operative practice with academic research and publication.
Each class admits one or two selected surgeons. Graduates now practice at centers in Argentina and abroad, and some are part of UMIBA's own team.
