Robotic and laparoscopic partial nephrectomy
Partial nephrectomy resolves most kidney tumors while preserving the organ. It is a recognized differential of the center's practice: organ-sparing surgery is possible in nearly all cases, with high preservation of kidney function. In selected cases it draws on MIRAI 3D's patient-specific 3D navigation (alliance).

When this procedure is indicated.
Each indication is confirmed with clinical evaluation, imaging and, when applicable, biopsy. The final decision is made through joint evaluation by the team.
- Localized kidney tumors eligible for organ-sparing surgery
- Anatomically or functionally solitary kidney with a renal mass
- Patients for whom preserving kidney function is a priority
The institutional technique of the procedure.
The resection is performed robotically or laparoscopically, with reconstruction of the renal parenchyma. When the anatomy justifies it, MIRAI 3D's 3D navigation (allied development) supports preoperative volumetric planning. The technical detail is discussed at the consultation.

Before, during and after.
A well-performed procedure is the visible piece. The before and after determine the outcome as much as the surgery itself.
Planning includes the imaging appropriate to the case and, in complex situations, a patient-specific 3D biomodel. The pre-anesthetic and renal evaluation is performed according to each situation.

The usual hospital stay is short. Kidney-function follow-up and imaging checks are scheduled according to the case. The guidance is adjusted during follow-up.
How this procedure is covered.
Direct in-network care is with the Hospital Alemán Medical Plan (PMHA). With the other health insurers (obras sociales) and prepaid plans, care is on a reimbursement basis. For private care, fees are stated transparently at the consultation.
For patients from abroad, the estimate is prepared case by case and the international-program logistics are coordinated. Details on direct inquiry.
Let's talk about your case.
If you are considering this procedure (for yourself or a family member), the next step is a direct conversation with the team. You can start it through the contact form or through the international program if you live outside Argentina.
